Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our servers, payments, and support.

General Questions

An RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) account gives you access to a Windows server hosted in our enterprise-grade data centers. We provide both shared and private (admin) RDP servers - so whether you need a cost-effective shared environment or a fully dedicated server with complete administrator access, we have a plan for you.

A Windows VPS (Virtual Private Server) gives you dedicated, reserved resources that are not shared with anyone else. Unlike shared RDP accounts, a Windows VPS includes full administrator access - so you can install any software, configure the server to your exact needs, and even host websites or run demanding applications.

It depends on your use case. If you need full server control - for hosting websites, running resource-intensive apps, or custom configurations - a Windows VPS is the right choice. If you need a reliable Windows environment for browsing, file transfers, trading bots, or everyday tasks, a shared non-admin RDP account is the more affordable option.

Windows: Open the built-in Remote Desktop Connection app (search "Remote Desktop" in the Start menu), enter the IP address we provide, and log in with your credentials.

Mac/iPhone: Download Windows App from the Mac App Store and add your server details.

Android: Install the free Windows App from Google Play and connect using the IP, username, and password from your welcome email.

Linux: Use Remmina (pre-installed on many distros) or install it via your package manager. Select RDP as the protocol, enter the server IP and your credentials, and connect.

Yes! Download the free Windows App on Android (Google Play) or iOS (App Store). Add your server's IP address, username, and password to connect from anywhere.

Yes! Windows Remote Desktop supports audio input and video device redirection. First, contact our support team to have this feature enabled on your server. Once enabled, open Remote Desktop Connection, go to Show Options → Local Resources, and under Local devices and resources, click More and check Video capture devices and Audio recording. Your local microphone and webcam will then be available inside the RDP session.

Yes! You can mention your preferred OS in the order notes at checkout, or email us after placing your order with your request. We can install any supported Linux or Windows operating system. Please note that custom OS installations are only available on Admin RDP (VPS) and Dedicated server plans - shared RDP plans do not support custom operating systems.

Windows RDP Plans (Non-Admin)

No. Non-Admin Shared RDP accounts run on shared servers without admin rights. However, we can install most software on your behalf - just open a support ticket with your request. For full administrator access, upgrade to a Windows VPS or Admin RDP plan.

Shared RDP plans are available on Windows Server 2025, Windows 10, and Windows 11. If you need Linux or a different OS, you'll need a VPS or Dedicated plan, which supports custom operating system configurations.

The following are prohibited on shared RDP plans:
  • Web server software (e.g. XAMPP, WAMP)
  • Cryptocurrency mining software
  • Hacking, brute-forcing, port scanning, or spamming tools
  • Any application that consumes excessive CPU, RAM, or disk resources
These restrictions protect the performance and stability of the shared server for all users.

Yes! Open a support ticket and request the software you need - our team will install it for you. Portable applications (those that don't require installation) can be run directly without any request.

Login credentials are typically delivered within minutes to a few hours of payment confirmation. In rare cases, setup can take up to 6 hours. If you haven't received your details after 6 hours, please contact our support team.

Each RDP account is assigned a dedicated, private storage drive that only you can access. No other user on the server can see or access your files. Storage capacity depends on the plan you selected.

All RDP plans come with unlimited bandwidth - no monthly caps, no throttling, and no overage charges (subject to fair usage).

Yes, the server IP is shared among users on the same RDP server. If you need a dedicated IP address, you'll need to upgrade to a Windows VPS, Admin RDP or Dedicated Server plans.

Not on shared RDP Plans. Shared RDP plans are designed for personal use - browsing, file transfers, trading bots, and everyday tasks. For website hosting, please choose a Admin RDP, Windows VPS or Linux VPS plan.

VPN client software is not permitted on shared RDP plans. However, browser-based proxy usage is allowed. If you need to use VPN inside your RDP, a Windows VPS plan is recommended. Additionally, some VPN applications can block or mask the RDP port (3389), interfering with your connection — make sure your VPN app does not block or mask RDP port 3389.

No, cryptocurrency mining is not permitted on shared RDP plans due to the high CPU/GPU load it places on the server. It is, however, fully allowed on Windows VPS and Dedicated plans (recommended) where resources are dedicated exclusively to you.
